Lorica Artworks is a gallery specializing in original paintings from Ireland. Owner, Mia Guerrera, started importing fine art from Ireland for Boston area dealers in 1998 and opened Lorica Artworks in downtown Andover, Massachusetts in November 2002. The gallery represents 26 artists who work in oils, pastels and watercolors. The name and logo for the gallery come from Celtic mythology. Lorica means breast plate for the soul and the sprite depicts the wondrous child who signifies hope and trust in the future.
