This year is special for the legendary artist who has announced plans for a cross-country USA tour entitled "Gordon Lightfoot - 50 Years On The Carefree Highway." The tour will feature his well known hits as well as some deep album cuts for the die-hard fans. All of which are woven together with some of Lightfoot's own behind the scenes stories about his historic 50-year musical career. The event is sure to be a great thrill for live audiences and anyone who enjoys hearing great music and seeing a living legend in person.

Culture Club’s original lineup is back together with Mikey Craig on bass guitar, Roy Hay on guitar/keyboards, Jon Moss playing drums/percussion, and the flamboyant front man and lead vocalist Boy George (pictured). The band is set to release "Tribes", its first new album in 15 years which features the new single "More Than Silence". Lúnasa has been wowing audiences around the world since 1997. Called "the hottest Irish accoustic band on the planet" by The Irish Times, this supergroup of traditional musicians never fails to please. The Burren Backroom series is well established as one of the most sought-after boutique series of traditional presentations. A singer, composer and actor, Lyle Lovett has broadened the definition of American music in a career that spans 14 albums. Coupled with his gift for storytelling, the Texas-based musician fuses elements of country, swing, jazz, folk, gospel and blues in a convention-defying manner that breaks down barriers. Among his many accolades and four Grammy Awards, he was given the Americana Music Association's inaugural Trailblazer Award, and was recently named the Texas State Musician. WGBH Radio host Brian O'Donovan will present A Celtic Sojourn Roots and Branches Concert featuring traditional and contemporary artists from around the Celtic World in what promises to be one of the highlights of the series and indeed a highlight of the summer's Celtic calendar in New England. Performers include Cherish The Ladies, Socks in the Frying Pan, Matthew Byrne, and the McCarthy Family (Tommy/Louise/Rose and Peadar Giles).
