In 1963, DC Comics, the publisher of Superman, collaborated with the Kennedy White House to create a story promoting the President’s Council on Physical Fitness. In the story, JFK calls upon Superman to inspire the nation to exercise, eat better, and get stronger. In 2013 DC Comics donated the drawings to the Kennedy Library after the death of Al Plastino, the comic book artist who drew Superman for 20 years. The drawings are on displayed for the first time at the JFK Library until September 1, 2014.

Held the 2nd Sunday of every month with live Irish music by Billy O'Neill and friends, the ICC Canton Céilí is a great place for those who know how to Céilí and for those new to the dance.  It's a great place to meet new people and no partner is necessary. Come and enjoy set dancing, waltzes, quickstep, and other traditional dances. And enjoy a great workout!
