Join us in this exciting new multimedia project that explores the very beginnings of filmmaking in Ireland.

Blazing the Trail: The Story of the Kalem Film Company in Ireland, is a treasure chest of original footage dating back to the early 20th century, discovered by Irish film scholar and director Peter Flynn, founder of the Boston Irish Film Festival, and produced by Dawn Morrissey.

Here's your chance to win a pair of free tickets to the premier screening of Blazing The Trail this Monday, November 23, at the Coolidge Corner Theatre in Brookline. The premier also includes live music and a series of short films that put the original films into modern context.
