Now in its second decade of concerts around New England, A Christmas Celtic Sojourn with Brian O'Donovan returns to four exquisite concert halls in Boston, Worcester, Rockport, and New Bedford.
Seamus Egan is back as Music Director, while Paula Plum serves as artistic director for the 11th straight year. Egan's seminal Irish band Solas is back, along with Chico Huff on bass, Eamon Murray on bodhran, Maeve Gilchrist on harp and vocals and Natalie Haas on cello. The thrilling Irish vocalist Cathy Jordan of Dervish is this year's guest performer, along with the extraordinary Nordic Fiddlers Bloc.
Internationally renowned Cara Butler has been named Dance Director for 2015, having received much acclaim for her recent choreography of A Celtic Sojourn at The Boston Pops. Cara is joined by award winning step-dancer, Declan McHale, and The Harney Academy of Irish Dance.
