Sam Adams Beer Dinner
Upstairs at the Black Rose

Black Rose Chef Dan O’Donnell, right, is paring the delicious brews of Sam Adams Beer with a four-course meal of cockles and mussels, potato leek soup, Lamb Wellington and Irish Heritage Trifle.  It takes place in the newly refurbished dining room with a stone fireplace and great views of Faneuil Hall.

Seamus Connolly Trio

Join local residents along with hotel visitors and conventioneers to hear one of the greatest Irish fiddlers in a generation. Master fiddler Seamus Connolly is playing over St. Patrick's Day weekend in one of Boston's newest, coolest lounges, overlooking Boston Harbor. Connolly is joined by fiddler Laurel Martin and multi-instrumentalist Kevin McElroy.

This year’s Gaelic Gourmet Gala features two of Boston’s most notable chefs: Rachel Klein of Aura Restaurant at Seaport Hotel (pictured above) and Barbara Lynch of Barbara Lynch Gruppo (right). Chef Gerard Reidy of the Delphi Mountain Resort in Connemara, County Galway, Ireland, will join the Boston chefs to create a sumptious four-course meal with proceeds to benefits Fisher House, a non-profit group that accommodates the families of veterans who are in Boston for medical attention.  Celtic Thunder, Ireland’s newest megastar group, will perform.  This event is presented by Boston Irish Tourism Association and Tourism Ireland and hosted by the Seaport Hotel Boston. State Senator Jack Hart from South Boston presides over this annual gathering of local politicians and leaders from the Irish-American community for a traditional Irish breakfast prior to the start of the St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
